Syracuse’s top recruit from 2024 is departing.

The team appears to be losing its top scorer and rebounder from the 2025-26 season.

Forward Donnie Freeman, who played two years for the Orange, is entering the portal, according to a report from Tobias Bass of The Athletic. On3 released a similar report shortly after. Freeman was one of the top names on the 2024 recruiting rankings when he initially committed to Syracuse.
