Kim Caldwell announces the hiring of assistant basketball coach from the SEC.

Tennessee announced the hiring of women's basketball assistant coach Isoken Uzamere on Tuesday. She previously served as an assistant coach at Georgia and was hired by the Bulldogs on April 12, 2022. "We are thrilled to welcome Isoken Uzamere to our staff," Tennessee head coach Kim Caldwell said.

"She is highly-regarded in our profession and has consistently demonstrated the skill set and personal characteristics to be a valued contributor in her previous stops. We are very happy to have her join our program. " Uzamere was an assistant coach at UCF from 2016-22.

Before UCF, she served as a graduate assistant (2012-14) and as an assistant coach (2014-16) at Albany. Uzamere played forward at Hofstra from 2007-11. She earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Hofstra in 2011 and completed an master's degree in interpersonal and intercultural communication at Albany in 2014.

The 2026-27 season will be the third for the Lady Vols under Caldwell.
