Outgoing players Dedan Thomas Jr. : Thomas was limited to just 16 games due to injury, but still led the Tigers in assists per game. Ron Zipper: A true freshman, Zipper scored 20 points in nine games last season.
Matt Gilhool: Gilhool redshirted his only season in Baton Rouge. Out of high school, he chose LSU out of 15 Division I offers. Jalen Reed: Reed suffered season-ending injuries in both 2024-25 and 2025-26.
His last full season had him average eight points and four rebounds per game. Mike Nwoko: Nwoko was a mainstay in the Tigers' starting lineup last season, averaging 13. 5 points per game.
