Rams projected to select best WR in college football in 2025 with 13th pick originally appeared on The Sporting News . Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here . The Los Angeles Rams are going all-in for the 2026 NFL season, and even though they already have two great receivers in Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, it can't hurt to have a third great option.

With few holes on the roster, other than WR3, the Rams taking a receiver with the 13th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft would not be a surprise at all. That's why ESPN's Peter Schrager has the Rams projected to select the best WR in college football last year, in Fred Biletnikoff Award winner, and USC WR Makai Lemon, with the 13th pick in his latest mock draft. Rams projected to take Makai Lemon 13th overall "Lemon fits with a lot of what the Rams do on offense," Schrager writes.

"And taking the 2025 Biletnikoff Award winner would be a sign that the Rams are truly all-in to win in 2026, potentially Matthew Stafford's final season. " Thanks to their 2025 NFL Draft trade-down with the Atlanta Falcons , the Rams have this 13th overall pick, which is in the perfect range to select Lemon. The USC receiver had 11 touchdowns and 1,156 yards on 79 receptions last season, winning the Biletnikoff award for being the most outstanding, or best, receiver in college football.

More : Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq would be ideal fit for Rams in NFL Draft Receivers who win that award are hit-or-miss, with Ja'Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith, Amari Cooper, and others being hits, while Jalin Hyatt, James Washington, Dede Westbrook, and Corey Coleman being misses. But there's no reason for the Rams to panic about Lemon being a miss. He has plenty of upside, and he will get to learn alongside Davante Adams for a year before he eventually takes over long-term for the potential future Hall of Fame WR.
