Random Ramsdom: No surprise, their WR’s block a lot
Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 4/7/26
CHICAGO, IL - JANUARY 18: Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (12) runs onto the field ahead of wide receiver Davante Adams (17) before an NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026 in Chicago, IL. (Eric Thayer / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images) According to some information I am seeing, the Los Angeles Rams ask their wide receiver to block, but not just block, block a lot.
It’s part of their role. It makes me wonder if any rookies would rather not go to L. A.
as they’d rather just focus on catching, and not so much blocking. Food for thought. The fact that the Rams need blocking to be a part of their WR’s game means they have that much more work to do to ensure a receiver can fit and check each box the Rams need, and not just the catching part.
The draft is coming, we’ll see if and who the Rams deem worthy, or who they’ll trust to fit their scheme. Exciting times. Hey, thanks for checking out Turf Show Times!
