Forward Andreas Holst intends to enter the transfer portal per reports
Oklahoma Sooners forward intends to enter the transfer portal, according to reports.
The Oklahoma Sooners fell short of the NCAA tournament and in the Crown Basketball Challenge, and now look to rebuild their roster through the transfer portal once more. Jeff Nwankwo is in the transfer portal and is expected to be joined by forward Andreas Holst. Holst, a 6-foot-11 signing out of Denmark, redshirted the 2025-2026 season with the Oklahoma Sooners and will have four years of eligibility remaining.
The Sooners will look to retool a roster that's losing two of their top three scorers in Nijel Pack and Tae Davis, who are out of eligibility. They'll also lose Forward Mohamed Wague, who was a huge part of the Sooners success with his ability to run the floor and defend. Jadon Jones, a key player off the bench, is also out of eligibility In addition to Russian forward Kirill Elatontsev, who joined the team midseason, the Sooners will need to replace five key members of the rotation for next year.
