Penn Relays 2026 invites individual track, field athletes
Penn Relays, the prestigious track and field carnival, will be held April 23, 24, 25 on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania.
Randolph senior Seannah Parsons had a goal of qualifying for Penn Relays . Already committed to attend the host University of Pennsylvania, Parsons cemented her spot in the prestigious track and field carnival on April 4 at the Carifta Games in Grenada. Representing Trinidad and Tobago, Parsons won the triple jump in 43-½, a big personal best despite a headwind.
It is the second-best mark in New Jersey history, behind Mount Olive Olympian Keturah Orji (44-11 in 2013). Parsons also finished third in the long jump (18-10¾) at Carifta on Easter Sunday. She qualified for the World Under-20 Championships in August at Hayward Field in Oregon.
Parsons was among 32 girls and 28 boys from New Jersey who received Penn Relays individual invitations on April 7. Randolph senior Kennan Byers will run the mile. Anthony Agnoli of Montville, who finished second in the shot put at the indoor MOC , has been invited in the discus.
