Could the Panthers look to squeeze in another free-agent signing before the 2026 draft? If so, here are a few under-the-radar options . .

The Carolina Panthers bucked their history by making a big splash in free agency this year, handing out a massive four-year, $120 million contract to former Miami Dolphins edge rusher Jaelan Phillips. Then, for an aftershock, they added Pro Bowl linebacker Devin Lloyd on a three-year, $42 million pact in the same day. Those deals didn't leave much room left on the table for other signings—and at the moment, the Panthers have just $2.

2 million left to spend for the 2026 season. Technically, they're $2 million over the cap already, so they will have to make some moves to create room for their draft class and any remaining free agent targets they might have in mind. This means that any vets they want to sign will have to be of the "under-the-radar" variety.
