For the first time in nearly four decades, Michigan can claim its one shining moment atop the college basketball world. The Wolverines won their second national championship in program history, outlasting Connecticut 69-63 in a slugfest . It's Michigan's first title since 1989.
Monday's win also ended a program streak of four consecutive defeats in national title game appearances. Not long after the final whistle, CBS Sports honored the annual tradition of posting a sizzle reel of the best March Madness moments to David Barrett's "One Shining Moment.
