Cincinnati Reds superstar Elly De La Cruz demonstrated such a swing on Monday night. He hit a grounder that couldn't have gone more than 20 feet in front of the plate before it's initial contact with the earth. It was hit so hard, though, that it zipped through the infield.

Still, the centerfielder played it well. Most hitters would be happy with a hard-hit single. Not Elly.
