Dorian Jones did not step on the floor for Rutgers in year one and will now be looking for a new home. The four-star freshman guard has entered the transfer portal. The window opened at midnight and Jones did not waste time entering his name into the mix.
Jones redshirted his freshman year. He joined the Scarlet Knights at the start of the fall after he requested out of his national letter of intent in May from Ohio State due to “academic issues,” according to a report from the Columbus Dispatch . He signed with the Buckeyes after a list of finalists including Rutgers, Michigan, and Missouri.
The 6-foot-4 SG was ranked as the No. 1 player in Ohio and No. 89 player in the nation out of Richmond Heights, per 247Sports .
