Boston Red Sox first baseman Willson Contreras was fed up with Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff for hitting him with a pitch, saying, "Next time they hit me again, I’m going to take one of them out."

Things got a little hot in Boston Monday night when Red Sox's first baseman Willson Contreras barked at Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff for hitting him with a pitch.

Contreras played with the Chicago Cubs from 2016 to 2022 and the St. Louis Cardinals from 2023 to 2025.

Contreras wasn’t having any of it, saying after the game he’ll take one of the Brewers pitchers out if they hit him again. “They always say, ‘I’m not trying to hit you. ’ That gets old,” Contreras said to MLB.
