Yahoo Sports

The Tennessee Titans still have some needs as the draft approaches, and one analyst outlines a potential developmental prospect.

The NFL draft is a little over two weeks away, and some projected prospect/team marriages are starting to come into focus. Some of those combinations make a lot of sense. In his latest article for the NFL Draft on Sports Illustrated, analyst Justin Melo breaks down the best developmental prospects for every franchise and targets the interior of the offensive line for the Tennessee Titans .

Titans: Sam Hecht, IOL, Kansas State The Tennessee Titans appear slated to enter the NFL Draft with big-time holes at right guard and center. General manager Mike Borgonzi will probably target mid-round options at both positions. Kansas State's Sam Hecht is an excellent athlete with sound technique.

Hecht wins via smooth movement skills and well-developed hand usage (timing and placement). The Titans clearly have some needs along the interior of the offensive line, and Hecht would be a logical target. While he may lack the prototype physical measurables for the center position, his technical prowess and football acumen help him overcome those limitations.

Currently, he profiles as a mid-round prospect with starter upside. It wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if he ends up in Nashville in 2026. This article originally appeared on Titans Wire: Tennessee Titans: Kansas State C Sam Hecht ideal development prospect
