0 points, 6. 0 assists and 3. 0 rebounds to lead Michigan to the second national title in school history.
There’s no doubt he was the most impactful player on the court. After racking up 13 points, 10 assists and four steals in a historic Final Four win over the No. 1 seed Arizona Wildcats, Cadeau followed it up with a game-high 19 points, three rebounds and two steals and in the national championship win.
Despite only being with the program for one season, Cadeau already etched his name into Michigan’s history books. The North Carolina transfer was very good throughout the season, but turned it up a notch in the NCAA Tournament. With Yaxel Lendeborg dealing with a pair of injuries, Michigan desperately needed someone to step up on both ends of the floor and Cadeau did just that.
