San Antonio Spurs superstar center Victor Wembanyama is ruled out for the second half of Monday's contest against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a left rib contusion.

The 22-year-old went down in pain after taking an elbow from an opposing player. He returned for the remainder of the first half, but couldn't give it a go for the second half.

He finished the game with 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting, five rebounds, one assist and three blocks in 16 minutes of action. With his 16 minutes of action on Monday, it counts as one of his two "near-miss" exemptions to the 20-minute threshold on the 65-game rule.
