Former Clemson basketball star PJ Hall suffered ankle unfortunate ankle fracture after returning to NBA action.
What looked like another chance for former Clemson standout PJ Hall to build momentum at the NBA level has quickly been put on hold. The Charlotte Hornets big man is now out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a right ankle fracture. The injury comes just days after Hall was called back up from the Greensboro Swarm, cutting short what could have been a key stretch late in the season.
Hall had recently been making the most of his opportunities. In 12 games with Charlotte this year, including two starts, he averaged 6. 1 points and 5.
5 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field in limited minutes. His last NBA appearance came on Feb. 22.
Most of his production this season has come in the G League, where he has been one of the more consistent performers. Across 23 games with Greensboro, Hall averaged 18. 9 points, 11.
