Taking the mound for the Giants is righty Adrian Houser, who makes his second start with the organization.
His first start was solid, as he gave up three runs to the San Diego Padres in 5. 1 innings, but just one of the runs was earned. Houser will face off against Phillies right-handed rookie Andrew Painter, making his second big league start.
His first was in the Phillies’ 3-2 win over the Washington Nationals on March 31st, in which he allowed one run on four hits with eight strikeouts and a walk in five and a third innings.
