Michigan forward Yaxel Lendeborg and UConn guard Solo Ball are both expected to play.

Indianapolis โ€“ Michigan forward Yaxel Lendeborg and UConn guard Solo Ball are both expected to play in Mondayโ€™s NCAA championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium. Both players arrived with their teams and participated in warmups hours before tipoff. Ball sprained his foot in the Final Four against Illinois, while Lendeborg suffered a bone bruise, sprained MCL and a left ankle injury against Arizona.

Lendeborg took the court for warmups as a full participant, with only athletic tape on his left knee. Likewise, Ball went through all of UConnโ€™s warmups in the lead-up to the title game, which is scheduled to begin at 8:50 p. m.

Michigan coach Dusty May told TBSโ€™ Tracy Wolfson Lendeborg will start. Lendeborg and Ball both were listed as starters and neither were on the pregame injury report. "He looked great in shootaround today.

I'm sure once adrenaline kicks in, he should be moving well. " @umichbball 's Dusty May provides an update on Yaxel Lendeborg w/ @tracywolfson pic. twitter.
