Draft Wire's Curt Popejoy has updated tight end rankings for the NFL draft.
The Arizona Cardinals have a pretty set tight end room entering the 2026 season. However, Elijah Higgins will be a free agent in 2027, so it would not be a complete surprise to see them select a tight end in the 2026 NFL draft later this month. While they aren't likely going to focus on the position early, one of the better players at the position could slip to later rounds.
Who are the best receivers in the 2026 draft? Draft Wire's Curt Popejoy, in his offensive positional rankings , gives us the top five. Top 5 TE prospects, per Draft Wire Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon Max Klare, Ohio State Joe Royer, Cincinnati Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt Oscar Delo, Georgia Sadiq will go in the first round, and there is some noise that a second and even a third could go in Round 1.
Trey McBride was a second-round pick when the Cardinals had Zach Ertz, and Tip Reiman was a third-round selection when they had McBride. Perhaps they might like one in Round 3 again.
