6 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns for the national champion Hoosiers in 2025. He scored three total touchdowns in wins over Alabama and Oregon during the playoffs and then finished his collegiate career rushing for 79 yards in the title game win over Miami. Over six collegiate seasons, Black rushed for 2,629 yards and 17 touchdowns and caught 53 passes for 488 yards and six more scores.
Despite a long season at Indiana, Black competed at the Senior Bowl during the pre-draft process. While he does not currently have a full athletic testing profile, Dane Brugler of The Athletic reported Black ran the 40-yard dash in 4. 45 seconds at 211 pounds during Indiana's pro day.
Black (5-9, 211) is currently the No. 181 overall player on the consensus big board, suggesting he'll likely be a Day 3 pick later this month. The Packers have Josh Jacobs in the lead role and return Chris Brooks, a do-it-all player, and MarShawn Lloyd, a 2024 third-round pick, but depth and competition are required at the position.
