OU basketball guard Jeff Nwankwo to enter transfer portal
Oklahoma guard Jeff Nwankwo plans to enter the transfer portal after averaging 2.9 points this past season.
NORMAN — OU basketball guard Jeff Nwankwo plans to enter the transfer portal, his agent Daniel Poneman told The Oklahoman on Monday. Nwankwo averaged 2. 9 points in 24 appearances for the Sooners this past season.
The Oklahoma City native was previously a NJCAA All-American at Cowley College in 2023-24. After transferring from Cowley, Nwankwo missed the entire 2024-25 season due to injury. This past season, Nwankwo's minutes decreased as the season went on and he didn't play in OU's last 11 games.
