Mason Falslev, Karson Templin returning to Utah State to play for new coach Ben Jacobson

Two Aggies stars โ Mason Falslev and Karson Templin โ have pledged their return to Logan to play for the programโs new head coach.
Templin, the 2026 Mountain West Sixth Man of the Year, announced his intention to enter the transfer portal in late March after Utah State coach Jerrod Calhoun was hired at the University of Cincinnati. As a junior this past season, Templin averaged 8. 8 points and 4.
2 rebounds across 36 games while shooting 50. 2% from the field. While garnering plenty of interest from Power Five programs, the forward from Texas will instead conclude his college career as a lifetime Aggie, announcing that he is re-signing with Utah State this past Saturday.
