Real Madrid star considering summer exit A headline member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is giving consideration to a summer departure from the club. The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.
France international Camavinga is for his part in the midst of a difficult campaign in Spain’s capital to date. Owing to a combination of fitness woes and competition for places, the former Stade Rennais talent has racked up a total of just 13 La Liga starts. Not only that, but when on the pitch, Camavinga has come in for heavy criticism, repeatedly falling short in efforts to string together a run of consistent performances.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, then such developments could yet give rise to a parting of ways between Real Madrid and their engine room star this summer. As per a report from Marca : ‘Camavinga is torn between staying at Real Madrid or listening to offers that may arrive at the end of the season, especially from the Premier League. ’ It is also noted that those in a position of power at the Bernabéu ‘no longer consider him untouchable’.
