Bengals surprise with Jeremiyah Love NFL draft visit

The Cincinnati Bengals might just be interested in Jeremiyah Love after all. What felt like a pipe dream of fans at best got a little closer to at least being a fun theory on Monday. There, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the Bengals are one of the teams set to host Notre Dame’s Love on a pre-draft visit.

Love, who ran a 4. 36 40 and 36 scores on a 6. 7 average in college, is one of the best running back prospects of the last few years and set to come off the board in the top 10.

The Bengals, fun as it would be to see him in a Joe Burrow offense, just never seemed like a realistic landing spot. They have too many needs, especially on the defensive side of things, to make a luxury pick like another offensive weapon at 10th overall. Still, this is the Bengals at least doing due diligence on Love.

If he falls, he has a very good chance of being the best player on their board. Whether that means they would actually select him is…something now about to enter the debate spin cycle for a little while.
