With Knies being a proven top-six power forward and only 23 years old, the Blackhawks should strongly consider pursuing him again during the summer.
If the Blackhawks acquired Knies, he could fit wonderfully on a line with Bedard due to his high skill and physicality. Furthermore, he would be far more than just a rental for the Blackhawks if acquired, as he has a $7. 75 million cap hit until the end of the 2030-31 season.
