Coach K unleashes funny jab at Tar Heels However, Coach K’s priceless troll of North Carolina also took a friendly shot at former NFL legend Bill Belichick. This came after McAfee attempted to rile up Krzyzewski with some Duke-UNC banter. “Well, they had an NFL champion hired the coach and Duke beat Carolina in football this year,” Krzyzewski said on the show.
“That doesn’t mean Coach Belichick isn’t a great coach. ” Last season, Belichick and the Tar Heels college football team suffered a rough first season together. Meanwhile, the Tar Heels went 4-8 and only managed to win two games during ACC play before missing out on bowl season.
