Brendan Schaub: Nate Diaz 'barking up the wrong tree' with Daniel Cormier
Brendan Schaub takes umbrage with Nate Diaz going after Daniel Cormier. Diaz went off on Cormier in a heated rant , which prompted the former UFC dual champion to fire back by comparing their careers. Diaz (21-13) makes his MMA return against Mike Perry (14-8) May 16, as part of the Rona Rousey vs.
Gina Carano undercard on Netflix. Diaz also criticized Cormier's commentary and analyst work with the UFC, but Schaub, a former UFC heavyweight, says the Stockton star is making a mistake by targeting DC. "I think for some people it works," Schaub said on his YouTube channel .
"Like, some people are like, 'F*ck yeah, man, f*ck those guys. ' It's his thing, and it's working. He's making money, so I don't hate on him for any of that.
The issue is these guys that he's talking sh*t about is, if you know anything about the sport of mixed martial arts, every guy he talks sh*t about is a better fighter and has a better career. So that's why he's going for those guys. He's just barking up the wrong tree when he talks sh*t to Daniel Cormier.
You're talking about MMA royalty. " Nate Diaz: UFC Hall of Famer? 'That will never happen' Schaub also went on to say that, as popular as Diaz is, his accomplishments won't lead to any UFC hardware.
