His North Dakota Fighting Hawks are gearing up for the Frozen Four in Las Vegas this week. And all eyes remain on James Hagens, who is playing in Providence. He added two assists this week, both coming on the power play.
The Providence Bruins added two players on amateur tryout contracts: Ryan Tattle and Will Gilson. Tattle is a forward who comes from UConn, where he played for four seasons. The 24-year-old from Port Moody, British Columbia, had 32 points (13-19–32) for the Huskies this season; he had 32 (18-14–32) last season.
He is signed to a one-year contract for the 2026-27 season. Gilson, a native of Old Greenwich, CT, played on the Quinnipiac blue line this season. He also had stops at RPI and Alaska-Anchorage.
