The New York Giants are preparing for their first NFL voluntary workout under new head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh will get a first look at his players on Tuesday, April 7, when the Giants gather at Quest Diagnostics Training Center. New York hired Harbaugh after he spent 18 seasons and won a Super Bowl with the Baltimore Ravens.

ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter posted on X that Lawrence is seeking a trade and won’t attend. Lawrence, a seven-year pro, and the Giants have been trying to negotiate a new deal during the past two offseasons, Schefter reported .
Lawrence is set to make $20 million this season and has two years left on his contract. The Giants drafted Lawrence 17th overall out of Clemson in the 2019 NFL Draft. He earned second-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors after the 2022 and 2023 seasons and added a third Pro Bowl nod in 2024.
However, Lawrence’s numbers dipped in 2025. In 17 starts, he recorded career lows in tackles (31) and sacks (0. 5).
