Packers to host pre-draft visit with ECU WR Anthony Smith

Yahoo Sports

ECU WR Anthony Smith, a potential late-round pick, will be one of the Packers' 30 pre-draft visitors.

The Green Bay Packers will host East Carolina wide receiver Anthony Smith on an official visit before the 2026 NFL draft, per Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel . Smith, an NC State transfer who caught 64 passes for 1,053 yards and seven touchdowns during his final collegiate season, is not ranked on the consensus big board, suggesting he's likely to be a late-round selection or priority free agent. The Packers don't have a pressing need at wide receiver and possess only seven picks in the 2026 draft, making the undrafted free agent route a more likely one at the position.

Tall and fast with vertical playmaking ability and excellent production in his final season, Smith checks a lot of boxes as a receiver target for the Packers. Over his two seasons at East Carolina, Smith produced 105 receptions for 1,852 yards and 13 touchdowns while also rushing once for a 45-yard touchdown. He averaged 17.

6 yards per reception. A legit deep threat, Smith had an average depth of target of 15. 1 yards in 2025 and 17.

6 in 2024. This past season, he produced a reception of at least 30 yards in seven different games and averaged 2. 8 yards per route run.
