Cameron Boozer played with fracture in Elite Eight game against UConn
Cameron Boozer's face was noticeably banged up against UConn, and now we know the extend of what he was dealing with.
One of the images of the 2026 edition of March Madness involved Duke star freshman Cameron Boozer being treated for a facial injury with a cold soda can against UConn. We now know what Boozer and the Coca-Cola can were up against down the stretch against the Huskies. Cameron Boozer suffered facial fractures around his left eye, which often forces players to miss time or wear masks while they're out on the floor.
Boozer did neither, and seemed to downplay the extent of the unsightly injury he suffered. "I have a couple of fractures, but I'm all good," Boozer said as he accepted two end-of-season awards recently. "I'm just going through the healing process.
It hurt in the game, but I wish the outcome would have been better, but that's not really what I'm here to focus on. " Cameron Boozer using a soda can to ice his face 𤣠pic. twitter.

He's expected to be a top-five pick, but teams will monitor how his orbital area recovers this spring. Contact/Follow @College_Wire on X and @College_Wires on Threads.
