In a departure from their usual way of doing business, the Atlanta Falcons front office seems to be thinking locally when it comes to NFL draft prospects. In last year's draft they took Georgia Bulldogs star edge rusher Jalon Walker in Round 1, and this year they've been sniffing around several prospects from inside the state. A new NFL.
com mock has them taking Georgia defensive tackle Christen Miller at No. 19 overall, for one example. The local flavor includes supersized Georgia State wide receiver prospect Ted Hurst, who measured in at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds at the Scouting Combine .
Hurst has the Falcons on his extensive list of teams to visit (12) before the draft. Today he will be visiting with the Miami Dolphins, followed by the Indianapolis Colts. Hurst also has the Minnesota Vikings and the Las Vegas Raiders on his itinerary, as well.
