I also think there’s a personal element to this: Luka has not seen his daughters in four months and I think this would be a great opportunity for him to see them potentially as he's rehabbing. That's a long time not seeing your children, and we know how much that's affected him over these last few months.
So I think that's another subplot to all this. So I think it's admirable and it makes a ton of sense why Luka is doing this. I think that's the type of competitive spirit you want to see from your franchise player.
