Cast your vote for Upstate Ingles girls Athlete of the Week

Here’s a chance to help pick the Upstate Ingles  high school  girls athlete of the week for March 30 through April 5. Voting is open until noon on April 9. This week’s finalists: Peyton Cutcher, Byrnes:  Cutcher pitched a seven-inning shutout and struck out six while allowing six hits and no walks in a 4-0 win against Boiling Springs.

Gracie Tompkins, Blue Ridge: Tompkins had a home run and double, was 2-for-3 with a walk, and drove in five runs in an 11-0 win against Chapman. Nadia Wiggins, J. L.

Mann:  Wiggins had five goals in a 14-7 win against Byrnes. Maddie Dohse, Mauldin:  Dohse had four goals and an assist in a 14-2 win against Hillcrest. Hannah Tilley, Woodmont:  Tilley pitched five shutout innings and struck out six with two hits allowed in a 6-0 win against Hillcrest.

Bella Serek, Brashier Middle College:  Serek had four goals and two assists in a 10-0 win against Chesnee. Valeria De La Cruz, Chesnee:  De La Cruz had three goals and an assist in a 6-0 win against Laurens. Addi Vaughn, Belton-Honea Path:  Vaughn was 2-for-3 with a double and allowed one earned run in seven innings pitched in a 5-4 win against Fountain Inn.
