Michigan basketball lands five-star Brandon McCoy
During the University of Michigan's Final Four win over Arizona, star senior Brandon McCoy announced his commitment to the Wolverines.
As the University of Michigan was in the middle of its takedown of the University of Arizona in the Final Four on Saturday, the Wolverines secured an elite recruit who could help the team make another run through March Madness. Five-star prospect Brandon McCoy, one of the top recruits in the class of 2026 who had been uncommitted, announced during the Fab Five's alternate telecast that he will attend Michigan. A McDonald's All-American who attended Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA), McCoy is one of the best two-way players in the country, serving a role on both sides of the ball that allowed the Trailblazers to run a three-guard lineup that demolished its competition throughout the season.
