According to the NFL Network, the Panthers have a visit with the reigning ACC Player of the Year.

The Carolina Panthers are continuing to evaluate the most important position in the game. According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the team has set up a visit for Georgia Tech quarterback Haynes King. A Longview, Texas native, King spent his first three collegiate campaigns at Texas A&M University.

He'd appear in 10 games for the Aggies—amassing 1,579 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions between 2020 and 2022. King went on to lead the ACC in passing touchdowns (27) in his first season at Georgia Tech. Over his three years there (2023 to 2025), the dual-threat quarterback totaled 7,907 yards and 55 touchdowns through the air while running for 2,277 yards and 36 scores.

Headlined by his conference-leading 15 rushing touchdowns, King was named the 2025 ACC Player of the Year and the ACC Offensive Player of the Year. Per Rapoport, the 25-year-old passer is also expected to meet with the Atlanta Falcons. Follow  @ThePanthersWire  on Twitter/X for more Panthers content.
