Michael Kim shares the NSFW thought he had as his approach on the 72nd hole of the Texas Open flew into the bunker

Michael Kim had a very relatable thought as he came up just short of J.J. Spaun's clubhouse lead on Sunday.

Michael Kim has quietly become one of the best stories in golf. Mirroring the rise of Max Homa in some ways, the Seoul-born journeyman has become a PGA Tour cult favorite by way of a popular Golf X account and vastly improved play. On Sunday, he had a chance to claim his second-ever PGA Tour title at the Valero Texas Open before sending his approach on the 18th hole long, landing in the bunker just beyond the green.

Kim needed to hole-out to tie J. J. Spaun’s clubhouse lead and force a playoff, and came oh-so-close to doing just that.

While on his flight, Kim decided to host one of his now Internet-famous X Q&As, where he was asked what was going through his mind as his approach on 18 sailed over the back of the green. His answer, while very NSFW, was great.
