St. John Lady Eagles go 2-2 in softball action
Lady Eagles breeze past East Iberville and St. James but come up short in tough battles against Parkview Baptist and Central in softball action.
The St. John Lady Eagles headed toward the final stretch of regular season action with a 2-2 showing last week. SJHS notched lopsided wins over St.
James and East Iberville but came up short in against perennial powerhouse Parkview Baptist and Central. The Lady Eagles (16-7, 4-0 in District 8-A) were set to host Teurlings Catholic in a 5 p. m.
outing April 9. They will follow with action against St. Thomas More on Friday.
Hereโs a look at last weekโs games: PARKVIEW BAPTIST 6, ST. JOHN 2: In Baton Rouge, Parkview scored one run apiece in the first second innings and rallied for four more in the bottom of the fourth to take the win over SJHS Pitcher Charli Neumann struck out three and walked three for St. John.
