Another Bucs LB has retired following the 2025 season
Bucs LB Anthony Walker is retiring from the NFL after nine seasons.
The Bucs' linebacker group has had yet another member of their unit retire this offseason. Following the retirement of Lavonte David, the veteran Anthony Walker is joining him in riding off into the sunset. He played nine seasons in the NFL, only one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2025.
Going back to the beginning of his career, though, Walker played at Northwestern before being drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round in the 2017 NFL Draft. He would also play for the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns in his career. His career totals would end up being 581 total tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, and 21 pass breakups in 101 career games.
He was never a star in the linebacking group, but he was one of the more reliable people to be in a group of linebackers at every stop. This article originally appeared on Bucs Wire: Anthony Walker retires from the NFL after 9 seasons
