Homers, gems and steals: Vote for IndyStar softball players of the week (March 31-April 4)

Congratulations to Terre Haute North's Madi Strange on being voted Player of the Week for March 23-28! The senior played a starring role in a 16-1 win over West Vigo, clocking four hits, four RBIs and three runs. Her hits included a home run and a triple, and she stole two bases.

Here were the top performers from the past week. Natasha Armstrong, Columbus East Armstrong had a strong second week, batting . 714 with a double, a triple and six RBIs.

Her efforts helped the Olympians claim wins over No. 11 Charlestown and Bloomington North. Emma Charles, Tri-West Charles totaled seven hits, nine RBIs and six runs scored during a spring break tournament in Tennessee.
