Real Madrid open to selling Camavinga this summer -report

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga could be on his way out of the club this summer as Los Blancos have grown increasingly frustrated with his lack of consistency and development over the last few years, according to a report from L’Equipe. Camavinga is still 23 years old and still has time and room for improvement, but this is his fifth season in the Spanish capital and Real Madrid fear that he might not figure things out. His potential as a midfielder is tantalizing and there’s an argument to be made that Los Blancos should be patient, but Camavinga’s value in the market could be somewhat high and Madrid could decide to cash in and call Camavinga’s tenure a success if a good offer comes their way.

Real Madrid spent €31 million to sign Camavinga away from Stade Rennais in the summer of 2021. The Frenchman has never established himself as an undisputed starter but his contributions have been valuable. Whether or not he has what it takes to become a starter in Madrid remains to be seen, though.
