Yahoo Sports

The Los Angeles Chargers brought in a potential Day 2 target for a pre-draft visit.

The Chargers hosted former Illinois edge rusher Gabe Jacas on a top-30 visit as the 2026 NFL Draft approaches, per his personal Instagram account . Jacas, a 6-foot-3, 260-pounder, is considered a top-50 prospect and a potential second-round fit for the Bolts. Jacas finished his collegiate career with 28 sacks, the second-most in Illinois history.

His 2025 season was dominant, as he led the Big Ten with 11 sacks. On the field, he shows the ability to convert speed to power and win with his hands, given his background as a state champion wrestler. Jacas could serve as a successor to veteran Khalil Mack and play alongside Tuli Tuipulotu for the long haul.
