Chase Burns led the Reds to a victory on Sunday.
The Cincinnati Reds earned a 2-1 win over the Texas Rangers on Sunday. Chase Burns led the way, turning in six innings of one-run baseball. After the game, Rangers manager Skip Schumaker shared his thoughts on Burns' performance.
"Some pretty good pitching over there," Schumaker said. "Chase Burns is pretty good... He's throwing 100 mph for seven innings.
So he was really effective. Slider was at 93, 94 mph. I mean, it was a tough assignment today against him.
