The Irish lost eight of their 13 players, four of which to the transfer portal , including TCU's eventual 2026 Big 12 Player of the Year Olivia Miles. The 2026 offseason should be much calmer for a Notre Dame squad that is riding high off its first NCAA Tournament Elite Eight appearance since 2019, going 25-11, including 12-3 after Feb.

Notre Dame women's basketball roster additions The Irish have not added any transfers yet, but Hidalgo, rising senior South Bend native Kelly Ratigan, rising junior Luci Jensen and rising redshirt freshman Leah Macy are all returning. Rising redshirt senior KK Bransford is also expected back, but has not announced that publicly as of the portal opening. Notre Dame is also adding five freshmen โ Jacy Abii, Jenica Lewis, Amari Byles, Bella Ragone, Isabella Sangha โ all of whom are in the SportsCenter NEXT Top 100 for the Class of 2026.
