MSU football schedules official visit with 3-star local ATH prospect

A local three-star athlete has reportedly scheduled an official visit to Michigan State this summer. Lundon Hampton of Grand Rapids, Mich. has reportedly scheduled an official visit to Michigan State for June.

According to Corey Robinson of 247Sports, Hampton will visit Michigan State on June 19. Hampton is listed as a three-star athlete, with a recruiting rating of 86. 50 in 247Sports' composite rating system.

He ranks as the No. 76 athlete and No. 17 prospect from Michigan in the class.

Michigan State extended Hampton an offer in the middle of December, and is one of nearly 20 schools to offer him, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Kansas, Michigan, Cincinnati, Louisville, Pitt, Penn State and Purdue. Other than his official visit to Michigan State, Hampton is scheduled to visit Kansas for an official visit in early May.
