Washington Huskies OL John Mills is the ultimate technician

Even with just one season of college football under his belt, star offensive lineman John Mills has turned heads with his IQ and attention to detail.

Immediately upon his arrival, offensive lineman John Mills asserted himself as an important building block for Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies . As a true freshman, the 6-foot-6, 338-pound product of St. Ignatius High School in Northern California started 11 games, nine at left guard and two at right tackle, on his way to Consensus Freshman All-America honors and an All-Big Ten honorable mention.

Along the way, he made his mark with his imposing size and physicality, while his flowing blonde mullet and boisterous personality instantly made him a fan favorite. Now, as the hype train leaves the station ahead of his sophomore season, former UW left tackle Carver Willis made sure to add another layer to the John Mills experience. "He's wicked sharp.

He's really, really smart," Willis said on the Locked On Huskies podcast. "Not only is he a smart individual, but he's also a really smart player, and you can pick up on those things when they show up... in the install process, I genuinely don't know if he missed a single question, I don't think he did.
