TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – The Wildcats struggled at the plate on Easter Sunday. K-State baseball (20-12, 5-7 Big 12) couldn’t find success in Game 3 against TCU (20-11, 7-5), getting shut out 4-0 to lose the rubber match. TCU scored four runs on 12 hits to beat the Wildcats, but had 14 left on base.

K-State managed six hits in the loss. The Horned Frogs scored in the opening frame with a sac-fly. TCU followed up in the second inning when Cole Cramer secured a two-run double to give TCU a 3-0 lead.

It would remain until the fifth when Brady Dallimore had a solo shot for the final score of the game. Matt Flores took the loss on the mound for the Wildcats. He pitched the opening 2.
