Our fans apparently think so

We’re no different, as we’ll be doing our part to bring you the best coverage of this year’s selection meeting from the perspective of our favorite team, as we try to do every single year. How many young men will be hearing their names called to bring their talents to Minnesota over the course of those three days? That was the question we asked in our SB Nation Reacts poll for this week.

The Vikings, barring any trades over the next couple of weeks, are set to head into Draft Weekend with nine selections, but the most popular response among our readers for this week leads us to believe that they’ll be coming out with more than that. Of those who responded to our poll this week, 34% believe that the Vikings will find a way to make ten or more selections over the course of this year’s NFL Draft. It was a close race, with 27% believing that nine is just the right number and another 23% channeling their inner Dick van Patten and telling us that eight is enough.

(Props for the, like, three of you out there who are, hopefully, at least laughing at that a little bit. ) For some reason, there are 16% of you out there who think the Vikings are going to find a way to make seven or fewer picks over the course of the three days of the 2026 NFL Draft. I’m not sure if I can see a pathway to that for our favorite team, but stranger things have happened before, I suppose.
