Spaun won his third PGA Tour title. The 26-year-old Swede has endured real disappointment on the PGA Tour over the past few weeks. Aberg threw away the lead at The Players Championship last month and he failed to get over the line once again on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open.

He finished in a tie for fifth and three late birdies actually flattered him in the end. The two-time PGA Tour winner was nowhere near good enough during the final round at TPC San Antonio and he will be fully aware of that fact. Questions will now be asked of the Swede’s inability to get over the line when it really matters.
