A super Inter beat Roma 5-2 at San Siro A superb Inter beat Roma at San Siro on matchday 31 of Serie A. Lautaro Martinez marks his return with a captain’s double, leading Chivu’s side to a stellar 5-2 Easter victory. It was a thrilling match from the first minute.

Thuram broke away and set up Lautaro, who, back after nearly two months, scored straight away. Roma scored the equaliser in the 40th minute with a header from Mancini. Inter responded immediately and went ahead again just as the first half was ending.

In the 47' Calhanoglu scored an incredible goal from over 30 metres out. The second half got off to an exciting start. In the 52nd minute Lautaro scored again from a Thuram assist.

The French striker headed home three minutes later to make it 4-1, sending San Siro wild. But it wasn't over yet: in the 63rd minute, Barella earned a well-deserved goal, curling a left-footed shot into the top corner. Roma pulled one back through Pellegrini in the 70th to make it 5-2.

For the rest, it was all Inter, with Esposito coming close several times. The match ended in celebration for the Nerazzurri fans.
